Site Third floor extension onto a flat roof and balcony. Commenced on site in winter 2004. New steel work to the roof structure had to be craned in at weekends with a 200 tonne crane. Practical completion was achieved on 1 July 2005 slightly ahead of schedule and on budget. The official opening of the centre was held on 1 November 2005.   Accommodation Two new seminar rooms to seat 150 people. Can be used as one large seminar room by opening up the dividing sliding doors. Students can watch live operations on the projector screens with links to five operating theatres. Additional office accommodation has also been created on a former roof balcony/terrace. CAD image of interior.
